Today i am giving you my another favourite paneer dish...
Paneer Butter Masala! It is very popular indian dish, and is the preferred vegetarian delicacy at all restaurant. It blends in perfectly with all kind of bread as well as rice.
It is tomato based gravy and has a slightly sweet but very mildly spicy taste.

Usually cream is added for the thick, smooth texture and sweet taste but i have added cashew nuts for it.

Watch the video to discover my other secret ingredients as well!

After a little bit of sauting, add 1 sliced onion and saute that

Let in those red ripe tomatoes with them, slit green chillies and stir well

Add salt coriander powder turmeric, kashmiri red chilli powder garam masala, stir well

After adding in the kashmiri red chilli, the colour comes out pretty well and now we will add in my secret ingredient; tomato sauce which will not only sweeten the gravy but also enhance its colour

Simultaneously roast kasoori methi

Add 1 tsp in the gravy, we will add the rest half later

Now add soaked cashew and grind the paste with milk to get fine puree.

Again heat the same pan and add in butter

Pour the gravy, add some water and mix it well

Add 1 tablespoon sugar, mix it well

Cut paneer into cubes and add them into gravy

Add 1 tablespoon roasted kasoori methi and 2 tablespoon cream.

Serve with naan parantha or chapati.
